At A Glance
AFG College with the University of Aberdeen is a unique partnership between Al Faleh Group for Educational and Academic Services, a subsidiary of Al Faleh Educational Holding, and the University of Aberdeen. Founded in 1495, the University of Aberdeen is the UK’s fifth-oldest university. Established in 2017, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen marked a significant milestone as the first British university to establish a campus in Qatar, offering internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
The institution is committed to social inclusion and widening access to higher education, supporting the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. Through this partnership, students living and working in Qatar can pursue a British degree awarded by one of the UK’s historic universities. The University of Aberdeen is **ranked in the 201–250 band globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026**. The partnership also aims to develop a regional research hub, drawing on Aberdeen’s strengths in academic research and fostering collaboration with educational institutions and industry partners across Qatar to contribute to the region’s knowledge-based economy.
AFG College with the University of Aberdeen operates across two campuses: Al Maamoura and NBK One in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Both campuses provide modern, technology-enabled learning environments designed to support the delivery of high-quality UK degree programmes in Qatar.
The undergraduate portfolio includes Accountancy and Finance, Business Management, Business Management and Information Systems, Business Management and International Relations, Politics and International Relations, Computing Science, International and Comparative Law, and Real Estate. Postgraduate programmes include the Master of Business Administration (MBA), MSc International Business Management, LLM International Commercial Law, MSc International Human Resource Management, MSc Global Business Communications, MSc Artificial Intelligence, MSc International Relations, and Master of Public Health (MPH).
As of January 2026, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen had over 600 enrolled students representing more than 20 nationalities, reflecting its diverse and growing international community. The college also has a strong alumni network of over 2,000 graduates in Qatar, contributing to the country’s professional landscape and supporting the continued development of its knowledge-based economy.
