Al Faleh Educational Holding welcomes Mr. Harvey Trump as Director of Academic Affairs (Primary and Secondary Education)

Mr. Trump brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Doha Academy schools. The beginning of his educational career was as a classroom teacher in the United Kingdom in 1990, followed by a move into management in 2004 where he effectively managed the schools in which he was associated to achieve exceptional status. Mr. Trump has extensive experience, appreciation and knowledge of the culture and people in the Middle East and has successfully led numerous schools in the region, most recently as the Principal at Capital International School, Egypt.

Mr. Trump says “I have been delighted to be granted this opportunity and to join in the development of a team of dedicated staff and driven leaders and managers across the three schools. It is clear that our goal is to achieve outstanding academic and pastoral support for each and every learner in all the schools. I have been warmly welcomed by all those I have met, both in and out of the school community and I look forward to meeting many of you in the future.

Modern education is a constantly changing landscape and it is therefore important that it responds to the challenges of an evolving global economy, a changing society, growing accountability, rapid technological innovation and increasing environmental awareness. It is my desire to serve a community and work with all in the Doha Academy schools, where we can make every effort to enhance young people’s opportunities in life and ultimately make a real difference to their futures. These challenges must be met in all schools’ 21st century dimensions of learning.”

Mr. Trump brings a passion for ensuring young people achieve their potential while at school. He believes in the development of student centered educational pathways, to provide all learners with a genuine sense of pride in their academic success and their school. He believes in a culture of personal excellence, where learning is valued and celebrated, and where individuals and the environment are respected.

During a meet and greet that will be scheduled in the upcoming academic year, parents will have the opportunity to meet, ask questions, and share ideas with him. We hope everybody will be able to join us in welcoming Mr. Trump. He is looking forward to creating a personal connection with all staff and students at Doha Academy Schools next year.
