AL FALEH EDUCATIONAL HOLDING ANNOUCES PLANS TO GO PUBLIC

Al Faleh Educational Holding, a renowned regional corporation that offers premium and innovative services in the education sector, has recently announced its plans to go public. The decision to go public was facilitated by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s latest decision to introduce a new platform that allows medium and small enterprises to be listed in the Qatari Stock Market, a decision that was monumental in supporting and furthering the economical growth of vast local enterprises in various sectors. Dr. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani, Chairman and Founder of Al Faleh Educational Holding, has addressed the corporation’s latest decision to go public by stating: “It is with great pride that we announce our decision for Al Faleh Educational Holding to go public and be listed on the Qatari Stock Exchange. That monumental feat came after a period of great perseverance and even greater success. We have been successful of raising the bar for all education based corporations locally and regionally, and we intend to further our growth and to maintain our ever evolving standards.” “We are hopeful our decision to go public will allow our corporation to continue to expand in the region, to be able to provide more dynamic and exceptional educational services. It was recently announced that AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, a unique partnership between Al Faleh Group for Educational and Academic Services which is a subsidiary of Al Faleh Educational Holding, and the University of Aberdeen which was established in 2017, currently offers a selection of undergraduate and post-graduate (Masters) programmes which includes: Accountancy and Finance, Business Management, Business Management & Information Systems, Business Management & International Relations, Masters of Business Administration, MSc International Business Management, MSc International Human Resource Management and LLM International Commercial Law. In addition to these programmes, AFG College with the University of Aberdeen will introduce a new Bachelor (with hons) in Business Management & Legal Studies and International Postgraduate Diploma in Education/ Master of Education as of September 2021. The Business Management & Legal Studies Programme will offer students the chance to add to their education in business, management and organizations with a deeper focus on the legal framework within which businesses of all sizes operate. It will also equip the students with highly developed analytical and academic skills. The International Postgraduate Diploma in Education programme will provide Master’s level, professional learning for teachers.

The programme connects theory, practice and person through collaborative professional learning communities, with the aim of transforming practice for the benefit of all learners. AFG College with the University of Aberdeen has more than 700 enrolled students. Doha Academy schools as well as Doha International Kindergarten have more than 3000 enrolled students. Dr. Sheikha Aisha Bint Faleh has also announced future plans to add an international, UK school to its highly revered roaster of educational institutions in the very near future. “We won’t share any further details about this future partnership with this highly-prestigious, international school, that has given birth to various internationally renowned free-thinkers and influencers around the world. We will in due time. The new campus will host the international school, and we look forward to this up-coming venture.”

Al Faleh Educational Holding has set a very dynamic 5-year plan that has been carefully crafted, and heavily revised, to mirror the corporation’s vision and its aspirations. The plan is to further expand the number of students at AFG College to 4,500 students once the new campus opens. “We have also set a long-term vision to launch a Qatari college in its first ever campus in the UK. We are still in the development phase of that goal, and we are currently in the process of location-hunting. This will allow us to be the first to ever launch a GCC college in the UK.”

Dr. Sheika Aisha Bint Faleh has long been a pioneer in the field of digitization, and has long called for the full implementation of it in the country’s education sector. “We have to be at the forefront of developmental revolutions, we simply cannot afford to shun change and wait until we find ourselves grappling trying to adjust.” She stated. “That has allowed us to adapt to the changing nature of education that was brought on by the pandemic. We had the foresight to equip our students with all the technologically advanced teaching methods, and in return our curriculums didn’t suffer as a consequence of the pandemic.
