AFG College with the University of Aberdeen plan to launch new academic programmes

AFG College with the University of Aberdeen, part of Al Faleh Educational Holding Q.P.S.C., is pleased to announce the plan to introduce five new degree programmes, that are now in the final stage of the approval of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. These programmes include an MA (Hons) Politics and International Relations, BSc (Hons) Computing Systems, MSc Global Business Communications, Master of Public Health (MPH), and MSc Global Energy Transition Systems and Technologies.  These programmes are designed to meet the growing demand for highly skills professionals, and to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing job market.

Of particular significance are the Masters of Public Health and MSc in Global Energy Transition Systems and Technologies, marking their debut in Qatar. The energy transition programme will cover a range of subjects, including energy policy, renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency. With an increasing global emphasis on sustainability, this programme has been designed to provide students with the technical skills and critical thinking that’s needed to adapt to new environmental changes that are impacting business and our day to day lives.

Moreover, the new Masters of Public Health will address pertinent issues including epidemiology, public health and global health. This comprehensive programme has been designed to offer students a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of public health theory by offering a holistic approach drawing on experts from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds.

A number of workshops and open days will be held in the coming period to introduce the new programmes and disciplines to interested applicants. These events will be announced ahead of time across our social media platforms.
