Doha Academy Al Waab held a Celebration Day, on May 5, celebrating Al Faleh’s Group two decades of educational excellence in the presence of Sheikh Faleh bin Nawaf Al Thani.

The Celebration Day gave students a chance to enjoy a fun day with various activities breaking up the routine of school and examinations.

Doha Academy proudly hosted Saad Al Dosari and Akram Afif, stars of Qatar National Football team during the celebration, where students had the chance to meet them and show their football tricks and talents with their favourite sports players.

The students also received an invitation to attend next day football match between Al Sadd Sports Club and Al Ahli Saudi as part of the AFC Champions League.

A fantastic variety of entertainment and holistic activities were offered on the sidelines including watching movies, playing board games, face painting, henna painting, balloon popping, table tennis, bouncy castle and so on.

Dr Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani, Chairperson and Founder of Al Faleh Educational Holding, which includes Doha Academy said, “We aim to make every day a valuable learning experience, not just by delivering an excellent education to students, but also by encouraging them to participate fully in the life of the academy. Students and staff have earned this celebration for their hard work in this academic year. We believe that schools should be happy, purposeful communities where children are encouraged to achieve their best spiritually, morally, socially, intellectually and physically.’’

Garrett, Head of Doha Academy Schools and Principal, said: “The Celebration Day was an excellent example of the community spirit here at the Academy with students and staff coming together to celebrate the achievements of our students. It was wonderful to see students and staff interacting away from the normal classroom experience.”
